Camera locations come from OpenStreetMap's surveillance tagging, added by contributors who have noted visible cameras in public space — not from a police, municipal, or telecom registry. Coverage is necessarily incomplete: it reflects what's been observed and mapped, not every camera that exists, and a location without a marker doesn't mean the area is unmonitored.
